This two-day training for facilitators has been designed for those staff interested in gaining additional skills in facilitation with our three essential practice of Racial Equity, Trauma Inclusion, and Restorative Justice. At the end of the training participants will be able to: effectively deliver trainings, including steps for preparation; deepen their understanding of training content areas; increase their confidence in content areas identified as challenging; strengthen their ability to present content in a way that is engaging and accessible; practice facilitation and presentation skills by engaging participants in mini-workshops that they deliver to other participants; identify strategies for making content relevant to audiences (e.g., integrating personal/professional stories into content or activities) and more.

- November 14, 2019 | 9am-3pm

About the Racial Equity Learning Community
Our goal is to help create a community where organizations can come together and learn specific practices involved in being racially equitable, in such areas as hiring, fundraising, power structures, and program development/execution. Our intention is to create a space where we can build relationships and share promising practices and challenges freely and without judgment -- none of us are experts, and we can all learn from each other. There is tremendous power in shared learning and growth!
