Dates:
Join us for a 30-minute webinar to learn about a low residency master’s degree in Community Development Policy and Practice for Adult Practitioners.
The Carsey School at the University of New Hampshire offers a Master in Community Development Policy and Practice (MCD) degree. This low-residency program is designed for adult practitioners and allows students to continue working while earning a master’s degree in 14 months. The courses, taught primarily by practitioners, focus on building skills in finance, management and project design, implementation, management and evaluation. A variety of elective courses from housing to community health to community development finance supplement the core curriculum. A core component of the program is a project that students design and implement in their home communities or work places. The program starts in June of each year and the application deadline is April 15. Financial Aid is available.
