Passive House is a building performance standard that delivers a high level of energy savings and carbon reduction for all building types, including homes, offices, and schools, while providing a healthier and more comfortable space to live and work. 

In this course, we will provide an overview of the Passive House building standard, discuss certification requirements, common design elements, and net-zero potential, as well as the impacts Passive House has on carbon and health. Examples of various building types will be presented and information on funding initiatives will be provided. Get your questions answered on what Passive House is, where it came from, and how it is expanding throughout the region. Offered for free through the Mass Save Passive House program.
