Nonprofit Management and Leadership (NML) Certificate Program at BU’s Questrom School of Business
Boston University has specially designed the Nonprofit Management and Leadership (NML) Certificate Program for nonprofit organizations’ talented executives and aspiring leaders.
Each year, NML students rapidly gain the foundational skills and strong support they need to advance their careers and achieve maximum social impact. Graduates receive a Certificate in Nonprofit Management and Leadership from Boston University Questrom School of Business.
This 7-month program, designed for experienced nonprofit leaders, provides a unique combination of:
- Award-winning faculty from BU Questrom School of Business
- Rigorous curriculum covering the vital elements of nonprofit management
- Practical application of classroom learning in the workplace
- Expansive network of peers, alumni, and senior fellows
- Partnerships with leading nonprofit institutions in the region
- Flexible schedule that allows you to work and attend classes
The NML Certificate Program consists of two core components: Classroom Seminars and Small Group Seminars. The Classroom Seminars, taught by senior faculty experienced in the nonprofit sector, consist of 22 two-hour sessions that engage you in the fundamentals of nonprofit management and leadership.
The Small Group Seminar enables you to personalize the content of the Classroom Seminars through the discussion of live cases. Small Group Seminars are facilitated by senior fellows, who are experienced nonprofit executives, coaches, and mentors. The small groups engage in action-oriented problem-solving and discussion regarding specific challenges confronted individually or collectively by participants and their organizations.
