Since its establishment 30 years ago, the Local Initiatives Program has provided cities and towns an effective way to collaborate with private and non-profit developers to create thousand of affordable homes. This session will provide an overview of the LIP 40B and LAU programs, including local perspectives on how they have been used to contribute to the Subsidized Housing Inventory (SHI). 

Target Audience: Municipal volunteers, municipal staff, local officials, nonprofits, and developers from across the Commonwealth.
