Our two-day, in-person intensive covers the financial frameworks crucial to affordable housing development. Over the course of four 3-hour sessions, participants will gain a deep understanding of financial modeling, subsidy strategies, and budget management.

Day 1:

Session 1: Affordable Homeownership Finance: Learn how to structure financing for homeownership projects by balancing public subsidies and private capital.

Session 2: Operations & Program Design Impact on Budgets: Understand how program choices affect long-term financial sustainability.

Day 2:

Session 3: Uses Detail – Construction & Soft Costs: Explore cost management for both hard and soft aspects of development projects.

Session 4: Sources Detail – Debt, Public Subsidies, and LIHTC: Navigate the complexities of funding affordable housing with multiple capital sources, including debt structuring and public subsidies.
