Do you fully understand opportunities available for your organization through the Community Reinvestment Act?

The Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) is a federal law designed to encourage commercial banks and savings associations to help meet the needs of borrowers in all segments of their communities, including low- and moderate-income neighborhoods. Financial Institutions are regularly examined to determine their impact in meeting local needs and are on the look-out for opportunities and collaborations to do so. What does this mean for you as a community development professional? Come and learn about the basics of the CRA, and how you can most effectively access opportunities and connect with lenders through the CRA.
