Bridging the Gap Between Resident Services, Property Management & Maintenance Staff
As a resident services coordinator, do you sometimes feel as though you’re at odds with the property manager? As a property manager, do you sometimes wonder what the resident service coordinator is “actually” doing? As a maintenance provider, you know you are often the first to observe or be told about residents experiencing a problem. Are you sometimes unsure of how to proceed with this information or not feel valued as part of the management team addressing the problem? While striving to reach the same goal to provide decent, safe and sanitary housing and to help residents successfully maintain their housing, the responsibilities of each can create an unintended adversarial relationship. Participation in this workshop will help co-workers understand the responsibilities of each, enhance communication, and understand how to successfully work with those who have different roles and working styles.
